Behind AltroSenso there’s a very clear mission: to plan weddings full of personality.
When we were looking for a name for our business, Anna and I wanted something that would capture and promise the possibility of living a wedding that’s personalized and inspired purely by the couple’s own tastes and personalities.
We made ourselves a promise — one that was already clear in both our minds beforehand: we would never force our own preferences onto a couple’s taste, and we would never impose a particular style just because it was trendy or because it happened to be our own taste.
The wedding belongs to the couple, and it’s their personality that needs to fully come through.

What does it mean for us to plan a wedding with an AltroSenso?
It means designing an event that transports guests into the couple’s world.
It means seeing the world through the couple’s eyes and telling that story to the people present, through the decor and the experiences offered to them throughout the day.
But let’s take a step back.
What is wedding decor, really?
Our view is a little different from most other wedding designers. Where “decor” usually means flowers and a handful of other purely aesthetic details, we consider a whole range of thoughtful touches for guests to be part of the decor project too — details that enrich their experience and their memory of your wedding day.
It’s the experience that makes the difference, and that makes your big day unique and memorable.

We’ve developed a method that gives us the confidence to reach that goal every time. Thanks to a series of personalized meetings and dedicated processes, designed specifically and exclusively for our couples, we know how to reflect their taste and personality in the decor.

Every couple has their own story, their own past, and their own vision for the future — and together these define who they are. How could their weddings possibly look the same?
So what does all this actually mean in practice?
It means the decor is never a detail you can leave for later — a share of the budget needs to be set aside for it from the very start of planning the wedding.
It’s often treated as a minor detail (something to think about only after the “important” vendors are booked), when in fact it can completely transform the final result and how excited the couple and guests feel. Here’s the secret: the more you want to wow your guests and leave them speechless, the bigger the share of budget you need to dedicate to decor.
Be careful though: this can easily get out of hand. It’s essential to define, from the start, a budget dedicated purely to decor and design a plan that stays within it.
Is that easy? Not if you’ve never done it before and you’re planning your wedding without experience and without a wedding planner.
